Greetings,
I have some 4:3 720x480 DV that I want to put with some 1:1 640x480 video. I'm using AVISynth to piece them together so that I can encode them in TMPG. I obviously need to have both AVIs the same resolution. My question is this: Do I resize the 640x480 to 720x480 and keep the aspect ratio (cutting out some of the top and bottom) or do I resize it to fill the whole frame (making it stretched horizontally)? My guess is to stretch it because the 720x480 at 1:1 is not 4:3 and must be squeezed when it is played in order to be 4:3. I should know this! Thanks guys!
