Editing the contents in shrink and the menu

I was wondering if I were to use shrink and take out some extras, such as subtitles and other languages, if it would effect the menu. Would I still be able to access the menu? If it effects the menu is there any way to keep it intact?

If you want to re-author in shrink, your menus wont work. You can fully remove things by using re-autouring but getting your menus to work is a little more tricky. Using dvd decrypter and dvd fab is the only way i have found.

But if you converted the extras to still images the menu just wouldn't load the object, it wouldnt crash the dvd or send it into a spin it would just stay on the same menu screen. Some players may say object not found or sector not found.

I don't mean re-authoring. I mean if I uncheck some of the extras, not in re-author mode.
