I have gone through the forums several times to find a guide that would show me how this is done. I have come close, but I am still confused. See, the guide is based on fitting a DVD (ripped to hd) on one disk, and I am working with an xvid/avi DVDrip. So regularly, I would use TMPGenc to convert to VCD for burning on two disks. However, I know that it can be done (one disk movies), and I am tired of living amongst a sea of CDs, half of them un-identifiable. I figure that I won't be making it an SVCD if I want if to fit on the one disk, but since the quality of the video is already excellent, I don't think that I will lose too much.(?) I tried already to just encode the original video in TMPGencPlus, made some adjustments to the bitrate as I saw done in the one (newbies) guide. But all I ended up with was a .98gig mpg file. Far from what I am trying to achieve. Until then I am going to keep trying to figure it out, I think I may be close, but I don't exactly know the tools I need or the order to do everything in. HELP!

Well to be honest the quality of putting 1 movie on 1 cd ( 800mb) will not be very pretty, but since thats what you want, I would go look at some kvcd templates. http://www.kvcd.org/portal/index.php
