MOV to MPG

A friend of mine wishes to convert a MOV file to MPG format.

He is going to try using the follow tutorial.

Is this the best way to accomplish the transfer? Or are there any other prefereed Tutorials?

Just use TMPGEnc and the TMPGEnc mov plugin.

What MOVIEGEEK said, is the right way to go about it, tmpgenc and qtreader.vpf ive tried it and it works sucessfully. https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgencdvd.htm is a better guide, as not all mov files follow the dumpster method. That guide is also failry tailored for BMW films
