about 2 years ago i got a sony dcr-trv11 minidv cam, i brought it into my school to use in one of my clases to edit something. i plugged it in and nothing happened, i had the same results on a number of computers. it turns out that my firewire port on my camera is dead, has this problem happened to anyone else or has anyone heard of this happening?
