Nes Hex Hacks GG questioning!!!!!!

I am trying to hack nes gg(gamegenie) code. I want to convert the cpu hex code into gg codes. I found the tools in zophar.net utilities. Here's what I have......

For Crush_n_the_bad_boy_street: Infinite Money= 0332:255.
I have to use (FF) for (255) because in the converter, it only takes FF instead of 255. The code comes out : NYLAZU, but when enter, the hex codes equals 8332:255 which always freeze the game. If I tried using the hex instead of the gg then it work perfectly.

I try to put 8332:FF on the converter and it come out= NYLAZU as the 0332:FF gg codes. I don't know what to do.

The code I have tried in the first digit of [0]332:FF
0=8
1=9
2=A
3=B
4=C
5=D
6=E
7=F
8=8
9=9
A=A
B=B
C=C
D=D
E=E
F=F

After the first digit, every number after it equals the same. For example:
0[3][3][2]:[F][F]
1=1
2=2
3=3 and so for except the first digit.
Did I do something wrong?
