problem with reg.xml file

i've installed full version of svcd2dvd but when i go to extract the reg[1].xml it says no archives found so then i tried to explore the file it then says the compressed folder is invalid or corrupt then i tried opening it to have a look and it said archive is either unknown format or damaged!!!
is it possible that the attachment i was sent is the problem?

Try winzip. (i use v 9)
