  1. Is there a wa to backup just the movie and just the menu for the sound options? I want to be able to select Dolby Digital or DTS. It seems like all DVDs that have both default to Dolby Digital. My home theater reciever dosnt have an option to switch. I use DVD Shrink right now. Thanks in advance.

  2. If you take a close look at your remote, I wuld bet dollars to donuts that you have a button that ays Audio, or something like that. You should be able to select it that way.

  5. using the DVD Remote control I can go into the set up on the DVD player.
I cannot turn Dolby Digital and DTS on or off, I can only change whether they are Bitstream or PCM. I have to make the choice in the the3 menu of the DVD. By the way thanks for the replies.

  6. Don't you have an "Audio" button on the DVD player remote control?

DVD Shrink removes the PUO ("Prohibited User Operations") that often prohibits changing audio stream during playback.

You can do this using DVShrink by re-authoring, dragging the main movie over, and dragging any menus you need to traverse through to get to the audio submenu.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Thank you ddlooping. Sometimes something as simple as this takes someone else pointing it out to you. Feeling really stupid right now. Thanks again

I'd be feeling pretty annoyed at being the first one to point this out and getting ignored ? It's funny what happens we we read our DVD Player manuals isn't it ?
    If in doubt, Google it.
