    Hello
I have used adobe premire pro for years editing footage for playback on my dvd player, from my minidv camcorder, and this is how i did it:

captured using premeire pro 2.0(now have CS3)
editing video onto the time line with music etc
then exported movie using microsoftAVi setting, compression- none, de-interlacing checked?
the files are large but that doesnt bother me

then use encore to do a little dvd menu.

Is there a better way I can use to get better results for exporting to DVD?
Should I be using the microsoftavi setting?
    Should I be using de-interlacing?
is the quicktime settings better for quality?

I thought I was doing okay, but since joining this site there seem like so many ways of getting from minidv to dvd
im all confussed now, just want the best option for best quality, dont care about rendering time etc

Cheers fellas any help would be most apprciated,, Ta
