  1. hope someone can help 'cos nero support is pants!
just installed nero 6 with all latest updates, using burning rom under dvd-video when i try to drag a new comp' over it tells me that one of the vob files is over 2Gb in size so therefore cannot be added to the compilation.it then goes on to tell me to use dvd-UDF but then says this then won't be playable as a dvd video???this is a full licsenced product, but i used a unlicsenced one before to evaluate with no probs which i am back using now.
hope someone can help with this please?

  2. Can you give some more details on what you did and trying to do ?
Did you make your own DVD with an authoring program, or are you copying a DVD ?

Normally a dvd-video cannot contain files bigger than 2Gb, so what nero says would be correct.
Take a look at a dvd-video, you'll see that all files are split into smaller files.

  3. I remember it was the DVD standard that no single VOB file should exceed 1 GB.
    Read this www.doom9.org/dvd-structure.htm

  5. In DVDShrink go to EDIT>PREFRENCES>ensure the bottom box is checked. (Split VOB files greater than 1GB) This happened to me once, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how. Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Alan
