How do I rip sound from an .avi to a .wav? The .avi is a film I captured from my analog vcr. When I try to rip with AVI2WAV it says the .avi file has no audio chunks..

Your avi already had PCM wav audio, right? Open it with Virtualdub, go to file and select "save wav". If the avi does not have PCM wav audio you need to select "full processing mode" in the audio menu before saving the wav.

I have ripped it and converted it from stereo to mono... But there is still a very annoying sound. And now it's coming from both speakers. Before it was only coming from the right speaker, when it was stereo.
