    could some one tell me if theres any easy way of unlocking this player so its region free,also what to know if it will play copied -/+ disks.

    AFAIK, it needs a firmware update to make it region free.

    It should play + or - discs but will probably be a bit picky about the quality of the media.

    Tyr your local independant Panasonic dealers, they might do it for a small fee. Don't bother with the national chains though.
