    I have some divx files where I would like to play on my TV, but overscan causes the subtitles not to be able to be seen. So I would like to compensate for it by adding a black border around it. Does anybody know how I can do this without reconverting the files? I tried frameserving the files into virtual dub using avisynth and then doing direct stream copy video but Virtual Dub saves it as an uncompressed avi.

    Can only be done through reconverting the file(s).
