    I think that this aspect ratio subject for DVD rip really worth a "how-to" sub-section within DVD rip itself.
    There are too many people asking about this (including myself lately, just lucky to get the answer and get it to work right yesterday night).
    Adding one sub-section and there will be less questions on this subject.

    If you check a movie in DVD2AVI and it is stretched from top till bottom, and there a no black bars, then the movie is stored on the original DVD as anamorphic.
