    It estimates less than 14 min to burn a 4.x DVD+R Disc but after 14 min only around 50% completed. The actual time is around 30 min. Anyone know how to fix the problem, please help.

    The only time this has happened to me with my Sony DRU-510A is when the media was crap. The Sony will not burn at 4X if it determines that the media will not support that speed.
    You did not say what brand of media you are using, but you should try something different, and hopefully better. Ritek or TDK or Fuji or some other good brand from the "DVD Media" link over on the left of this page.
