  1. My Playstation 2 won't play dvd's that i burn. I burn all of my movies to TDK DVD+R. When I put them in the PS2, it just says disc read error. What is wrong and is there anything that i can do?

Hi. You should use dvd-r and it should work fine. Dvd-r is almost 100% compatible, where as dvd+r is 40% compatible.

    Hope It Helps,

  4. Is black & white output a common problem? I burnt a dvd+r 2.4x for a m8 and he got b&w.

  5. Is it an Import game? the M8 think makes me think you are in a PAL region of the world. if the game is an NTSC disc then the PAL equipment will support it usually but to get color you need to run into the port on which NTSC is supported. usually PAL equipment only has NTSC support through one port. Its usually the RGB port so you'll need a good quality RGB Scart lead.

  6. Doesn't matter what format DVD +- on a PS2, the laser that is in it is more important and how the DVD is created.

  7. -r is for games, shouldn't care if you use +r or -r for flicks, do they play in any other player?

"dvd+r 2.4x" you sure thats not dvdrw? 2.4x is dvdrw speed, may/maynot play in a ps2.
