Ok I'm stumped.
I'm backing up a DVD via these steps:
Using DVD Shrink (3.0 beta) and shrinking movie to 4.46gig in size (got rid of French soundtrack and subtitles) TOTAL NON-SHRUNK MOVIE IS 8+gb in size.
The shrunk files are on my empty second HD in my VIDEO_TS folder like I always do. When I click "details" in Windows Explorer, the files still add up to the above stated 4.46gb total size.
I use ImgTool Classic newest build (worked fine on other occasions so I know it's not the problem..I think) and create a .iso image file from the VIDEO_TS folder that has the shrunken files. I create a Target folder to put the .iso as well BTW.
When that's done the problem shows up.....
I open up DVD Decrypter, go to MODE, ISO-WRITE, and choose the image file I created. However, when I look at the file size to burn of the shrunken movie, the size grows 2+ gigs larger! something like 6.6gb total size...sure enough, when I go to Windows Explorer and look at the .iso file, it isn't 4.46, it's 6.6gb!?
Using this method worked fine this past weekend, but the last two attempts yield the same weird results.
Anyone have any thoughts??
Thanks!
Alf
