  1. I'm hopeing to squeeze a bit more space out of a MiniDVD disk, is there anyway to go about forcing Nero to burn MiniDVDs in Mode2/XA? Or would the removal of error correction be a bad thing for a MiniDVD? I know it works well with VCD and SVCD, I figured the case would be the same.

There is a program called Mode2CDmaker,I believe you can find it in the tools section. It makes an image file of your 800MB directory which you can then burn as an image file with Nero. I only made one disk,it played in one DVD player as a normal miniDVD but in another it played in slow motion. Sampo 612 played it,Cyberhome 402 played in slow motion.

  3. I must try this ... however I remember looking at nero and there is an option for making things burn in mode2 .. goto burn cdr then ISO tab then the option is there in front of you.. havent tried it, so cant vouch for it... I am interested in testing the quality of minidvd as opposed to svcd .. the big problem was that svcd can store an extra 13% becoz of mode2 thus making a comparison difficult.
