I have converted a divx avi to mpeg2 ready for authoring in tmpgenc author, but when i tested the mpeg2 after about 45 minutes the sound cuts off. They are pretty old divx files and have vbr sound. Do i have to seperate the sound and re-encode under a cbr format. If i do have to do this, how do i do it, and how do i know what the delay is for the sound to be in sync.
I used dvd2svcd to do the conversion but i can give tmpgenc a try if it can keep the sound.
thanks for any advice
