    Hi All,
In my quest for one shot encoding to cheap media, mostly for kids shows and the like, I was referred to DVD2SVCD. I like it!
But I have recently run into a problem with the error coming up in BBMpeg which says bbmepeg -error Input file c:\output\Pulldown_Encoded_Video_NTSC.mpv was not found.
Someone on another thread said they figured it out, but I havent gotten a reply and was wondering if anyone else has run into this.
    Any help is appreciated.
I must be doing something wrong, but I havent been able to get a good grasp on it.

    Here is my DVD2SVCD.log:

  2. What version of CCE are you using? If you are running other than CCE 2.50, give it a try. I have read in other forums where this error was resolved by "downgrading" to CCE 2.50. I use CCE 2.67 and have had no issues, but this seems to be an issue that appears with some and not others. Give it a shot -- as this is another one of those weird problems.

Also -- are you sure you are not running out of disc space? You are only starting out with approx 4GB free.

    Good Luck !!

CCE Version 2.50 ( Demo from Doom9 site)
Disk space is fine since I had already ripped the .VOB files.
Just to be on the safe side, I removed them and re-ripped with the internal routines from DVD2SVCD. Its encoding right now.

Thanks for the fast reply. This is starting to get under my skin....

Well, it failed again, but I can figure out why. It looks like somewhere along the process, it thinks that It is supposed to do a pulldown but it never gets done, but the flag still stays and when BBMpeg cant find it , it just terminates.

  5. If you have not already, enable the "Advanced" option for in DVD2SVCD Level under the "Misc" tab. This will reveal an "Advanced Settings" option under the "BBMpeg" tab.

Don't know if this will help, but check out the "BBMpeg" section of this reference guide and see if altering or manually setting the "PULLDOWN" setting in the advanced settings of the "BBMpeg" tab will make a difference.

I think I figured it out last night. I started of using D2SRoba and I think when I did the original install I ( THOUGHT) I used the default settings for DVD2SVCD. Anyway...The batch file seemed to only want to do SVCD, So I uninstalled the whole mess and reinstalled with the defaults which is when I remembered telling DVD2SVCD that I would mainly use it for VCD's. I guess the batch file somehow was picking up the remnant VCD settings and confusing them with the SVCD settings. I managed to fry up a nice copy last night , but the write to the disk was pretty bad. I think my media may be a little sub-par ( read: cheap...)
Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it!
