    I HAVE RIPPED BAND BURNT A DVD WITH SMARTRIPPER AND NERO
    THE PROB IS WHEN I PUT THE DVD INTO MY STANDALONE IT COMES UP WITH ROOT THEN NOTHING IT WONT PLAY UNLESS I PRESS THE STOP BUTTON THEN THE PLAY BUTTON ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT I DID WRONG OR HOW TO STOP THIS PROBLEN I NEVER HAD IT BEFORE OR SINCE ITS JUST THIS ONE TIME

    STOP SHOUTING !!

    If the disc doesn't auto play, it could be the IFO structure is invalid and doesn't point to the right part of the disc in order to play, or is refering to a missing VOB / cell ID.

    Some players hunt for the disc every time you reset it (usually a stop - play sequence), and if this suddenly wakes it up you could have some media that is a bit flaky with your standalone.
