    hi

I have recently converted some old VHS tapes to DVD. Capture, edit, burn seemed to go ok with the final DVD-R running OK on my Pioneer Home cinema system.

However, i am getting disk error when i try to run it on my older toshiba DVD player.

I have authored using both Sony DVD Architect and ULEAD DVD movie factory 6

what is the likely cause of this?

I am thinking of creating an .iso and burn using another burning package?

    help apppreciated

    There is no set answer...

    1. IMGburn is popular (and good) for burning ISOs.
    2. Always use quality media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.
    3. Some players (especially older ones) don't like recordable media.

If I remember correctly, some of the early Toshiba DVD players would only accept DVD+R. Some would not accept recordable at all.

Imgburn isn't restricted to ISOs - it will happily burn DVD Video from the Video_TS folder, and will also burn any files as data.
