  1. My DVD player not played DVD disc that have VCD MPEG-1 files.

Please tell me What is the best method for encord Mpeg1 file
(extracted from vcd) to compliant DVD mpeg 11 file using TNPGEnc Plus ?

TMPGEnc has a DVD template called Pal (Low Resolution)...
    other thing is half D1...
What is the difference between Pal (Low Resolution) and half D1?
Which bitrate (For both)I must use for best picture quality?
If the half D1 is better , how can encord at half D1 with TMPEG?

    Please answer me with details..

Re-sample the audio to 48KHz and your player should play mpeg1 at 352x240 (NTSC), which is VCD and which is also DVD compliant. Look in the guides that Craig T. posted.

If you really want to re-encode (which is the worst way) then look in the Tools section for CVD (352x480) templates. Download them and put them into the template subdirectory of TMPGEnc.
