  1. Hi I am converting old home video to DVD - I am using ulead video studio 7
which captures the analog input fine and produces Mpeg2 files which when
viewed play back with no problem at all, however when you go to produce the
final DVD files the final result has jerky movement of subjects on the
video, where am I going wrong and what can I do about it ? Different
    software ? Change settings ?

I have an Athlon XP 2000 , 1 Gig of Ram 80 Gig hard disk.

    Any ideas appreciated

    Thanks

Have you tried different media? Or changed field order?
    Hello.

  3. I have been trying to help someone solve a similiar problem, also involving VS7, in another thread here. No definate resolution yet but it may possibly be linked to using 23.976fps source material.

  4. Your field order is wrong. If it's A, change it to B, if it's B, change it to A. It's a common problem.

  5. In general...

FIELD A is for video captured by OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 capture cards.

FIELD B is for video captured by analog capture cards.
