Hi there
I have a avi file that has 2 streams of AC3 audio
when I open it with Gspot it shows...
stream 1 :
448 kb/s (89/ch x 5 ch)
stream 2 :
192 kb/s (96/ch x 2 ch)
then underneath it shows it :
disabled - rendering of multi stream audio not supported
How can i work with this file so I can encode this to dvdr?
I know how to make the video side of the file encode but Im stuck on how to deal with these 2 streams of AC3.
usually I would extract the AC3 using Vdub, change file xtension to .AC3, check with ac3fix and then author it along with the m2v file I made with TMPGenc..........However Im completely lost with dual streams, can any1 shed some ideas onto this problem for me please??
thanks

virtualdubmod handles demuxing of multiple streams from avi files, and if i remember correctly, it saves you the time of using ac3 fix (virtualdubmod creates no wav header in the ac3 file during demuxing)

Thanks for your reply
I have got that version of virtual dub and loaded into it the avi file with dual audio streams. I then chose the setting:
streams>stream list.... which displayed both ac3 streams, I then chose the setting demux and saved my file as a AC3 file to hdd. What I am a little unclear of is has that demuxing taken both streams of AC3 and made them into the 1 ac3 file I have saved out of Vdub mod?
