I have successfully made the main menu of my DVD play a song, but would wish for the song to continuously play until the user chooses to play the movie. Is there a way to get the song to not stop when someone selects a new menu in Encore DVD?
(Example: person goes from main menu that is playing music to a submenu, and the music still plays)

AFAIK there is no way to do this with any DVD authoring app, the DVD video standard doesn't allow for it. Each menu is a seperate entity and thus the music track would start anew for each menu selected. You could put the same audio track under each menu but it would start from the beginning on switching to that menu. I think there's a way that when a button is selected it can trigger a menu background to change by cleverly using the subpic but it wouldn't be a new menu, just a different background.
