Movie freezes then starts at the beginning

I have been using dvdxcopy lately. I have made 7 backups. I love this program, however everytime I play these dvd's, in my standalone, during a part in the movie it will freeze then it will start from the beginning. I dont really care because I will just fast forward thru that part and it will play fine. However I would still like to know what I am doing wrong. Is it because I have other programs running in the background when i burn them. Please let me know what is wrong.

You're using DVDXCopy, that's what you're doing wrong. DVDXCopy is buggy..

You should try using DVDShrink, DVD2One, CloneDVD.

What kind of reply is that. If you dont have good answer then dont post one. I already spent 60.00 on dvdxcopy, so that is what I am going to use. Can someone just give me a real answer? Not just another product I should use.
