I am using the WinTV PVR capture card and it is working great except for a couple of things.
First, just a few of the cable channels do not come in very well. Channels 4, 5, 16, are the most difficult to see. Most of the channels are crystal clear. I am using a splitter and the channels on the TV are perfect but not on the PC.
Just wondering if any of you guys had experienced this and if there is a solution.
Thanks...

Try connecting the cable without the spliter.
Does this solve your problems?

I've tried that and still have the problem. Could it be too much interference from the other wires and cables going to the rear of my unit? There are a few!!!
Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have the same problem
Channels 7,11,12(12 is really bad clear barely visible lines, but on pc shows up really bad) it sucks Cause I want to capture Dark Angel from channel 12, and angel from channel 11. Anyway I found that sometimes the 2d cleaner filter for Vdub helps some, not totally but a little bit. I got a filter called vhs tools or toys or something made by this guy named flaxen I think. I am still trying to fiugre out how to work it. see ya
