  1. Hi I have a DVD mpeg2 file that I want to burn onto a dvdr disk. I am using Baldricks SpruceUp guide, but when I try to load my file into SpruceUp I get an error that says "Error in System Header-Information in its component elementary streams may be corrupted. Can anybody help me. I used a guide on this site to make the mpeg file dvd compliant so I dont know why it would be corrupted. Thanks

Is your MPEG-2 file DVD compliant? Try, if you haven't already done so, demuxing your file, saving the .m2v file and the .mp2 file in the same folder, with the same name. Then load the .m2v file into SpruceUp and it will automatically load the .m2v file when finished. If this doesn't work, please provide some more info about your MPEG-2 file.

Don't you need to rename the .mp2 to .mpa or in dcapp1's case the ac3 file to .mpa prior to importing into SpruceUp?

  5. The way I got my audio is to extract the wave from the movie and then I converted it to ac3 so that it would be dvd compliant. Will changing the name to mpa really do it. I'm sorry but I am a super newbie at this. Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, SpruceUp will take a ac3 file renamed .mpa. It worth a quick try.
