I am still new to dealing with Video. I am trying to rip the audio from an AVI file.
I have Virtual Dub, Audacity and GSpot.
GSpot says the audio is PCM and doesn't need a codec to play it. . .
GSpot list the file as "2,398 MB (or 2,456,170 KB or 2,515,118,080 bytes)" where it is actually 86 gig
Audicity gives the error when trying to open the AVI; "RIFF does not specify WAVE as type" > OK > ". . . would you like to import this as raw PCM?" > Yes > "File not large enough to analize" > "cant seek on descriptor 3 (error 87: the parameter is incorrect.)"
Where would I look in Virtual Dub to rip the audio?

How can the simplest things be so difficult? I guess I am still learning to crawl.
Thanks
