I've had good luck using DVDD, DVDShrink,DVD2One, to back-up MY movies (from HDD to DVD+-R/RW) When I wanted to do a direct disc to disc (on the fly) copy of a DVD+R to another(blank) +R, NERO 6.0.0.23 said "not enuf space avail to copy"(approx quote). I'm using identical media in source as in burner. (Memorex+R ). Of course I didn't have a problem coping it to -R (slightly larger disc).using lastest versions of all software. Used disc info within NERO and it said both were identical size,(4483MB). Is there a trick to copy a copy? Maybe a different copy program? Any input would help.

  2. Nero wouldn't burn a 4482MB file to a DVD+RW, said it was too large
RecordNow Max did the job just fine...

Re: heck54... Tried the ISO read to ISO write. Looks like you can go HDD to Disc and Disc to HDD, but NOT Disc to Disc. "Not accessible/incorrect function" error message So many people use NERO, never had this issue? Had trouble w/Roxio 6 also, but maybe try it again....(the dust collector)

    towguy,
I haven't found a program THAT I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR that will do as well as the free ones. I couldn't get Nero to work on CD's....I like EasyCD Creator for CD's but don't feel the need to upgrade just to get DVD burning options with it....the freebees do just fine so far.
I know what you mean though....."on the fly" should work for you.

  7. I use Cyberlink's Power Producer for that job. My burner is DVD+R only format, and Power Producer works great eveytime. I think you can download a trial version.
