  1. Hello,

I have a Honda van that has a DVD system in it. I am trying to make copies of my Kids Disney DVD's for the van so the originals don't get trashed.

I am currently useing DVD Xcopy 1.6 and I am haveing problems. The DVD Backup screen that XCopy puts up seems to cause problems for my vans player. Sometimes the movies work sometimes they don't, and they will never get passed that screen unless I hit the menu button on the remote as soon as the screen comes up.

Is there any better sofware for making backups the XCopy? I tried a demo of Elby Clone DVD but it woudn't do encoded DVD's.....aren't allmost all dvd's encoded?

    Any suggestions would be helpfull.

    Thanks.

DVD Shrink is better. But it is more than a one-button application like DVD X Copy. You need to know where on your PC hard drive you want DVD Shrink to write the DVD files, and supply that information to DVD Shrink. Then you have to use some other DVD writing program, such as Nero or Record Now Max, and write those files to your blank DVD, making sure that they are written inside of a VIDEO_TS folder and that there is also an AUDIO_TS folder written, even though the AUDIO_TS folder is always empty.
