Someone else was having this problem so I tried it myself. I tried about four different ways of making a 'DVD Complaint' MPEG-1 video using ffmpegX 0.0.9a. None of them were recognized as MPEG-1 files by DVDSP-2.02. SP called them 'QuickTime Video' and proceeded to convert them to MPEG-2 files. I then used the VCD Toast Exporter and Cleaners HEURIS MPEG and they were both accepted. I also noticed that SP treats mpegs made by forty-two the same as those from ffmpegX. Is there a secret here I'm missing? Considering that ffmpegX is about three times as fast as the other two, it would be nice to use it with SP 8)
