I bought a Verbatim DVD-RW (NEC 1000a) back in May, 2003 at Fry's
Electronics. It was advertised at $150 with a $30 and $20 rebate to
be paid by Cendyne. Of course, Cendyne was forced into bankruptcy
in September, 2003, so I thought that was the end of my rebate. But
I decided to see if Fry's would be willing to pay it.
I filed a claim with Fry's in early October. Today I got a check for $50![]()
So if you bought any Cendyne products from Fry's and never got your
rebate, go talk to their customer service people and you may be able
to get it through Fry's.
I've read lots of bad reviews of Fry's but I'm certainly a satisfied customer
now.
