  1. Hello. I want to back up my copy of "Bruce Almighty" and I have a question. Universal put a lot of audio tracks on this one (English DTS, English DD 5.1, French DD 5.1, Spanish DD 5.1, Director's Commentary), which eats up a lot of space. I really liked the outtakes and extra scenes, so I'd like to keep them...

My question is: I know then when you do full-disk copy in DVD2One, it gives you the choice of audio tracks (I usually just select them all). Is it possible for me to back up the disc (menus, features, and all), but with only the English DD 5.1 track on it? How will my DVD player handle the movie? Will I need to go and select English DD 5.1 before watching the movie? Do I need to do anything special before I burn the disc?

Thanks very much for your help,
    J

yes you can just have the DTS audio, but your home system has to support this format (ie you must have a 5.1 system). if not you will have no audio.

  3. TenaciousJP, I'm not a DVD2One user, but I don't think you'll have any problem if you select only the DD5.1 audio stream.
It is probably the default stream so you shouldn't have to use your remote or the menu to access it.

When I do a full disc copy, I use DVD Decrypter in FILE *full disc* mode, then I use DVD2One in full disc mode. When I get to the audio choice menu, I uncheck everything but the 6 channel English audio track. I've never had to *choose* that particular track when playing back on my standalone, nor have I ever had a problem with audio during playback since it defaults to that track to begin with. It should work fine on yours too.
