Custom menu creation with current VOB files from DVD2ONE

Hi there all !!

I've just purchased Gladiator and wanted to make a copy of it for protection of the original.

I worked it out with DVD2ONE but the final quality was not so good.

I decided to make only the movie with Digital 5.1 sound and English and Greek subtitles. The result was better.

DVD2ONE created all the necessary VOBs and IFOs so when i insert the DVD-R into my player it starts directly the movie and i can change the subtitles state (ON/OFF or change from Greek to English) from my player's remote control.

Can i create a custom menu by capturing a scene from the movie or even using some JPEG/TIFF as background and make some menus refering to the chapters and to the subtitles?

If so what software should i use ?

My new DVD Writter (Plextor PX-708A) comes with Ulead Authoring Software. Can i used it for this purpose?

Click Here > TMPGEnc DVD Author. It's not free but it gives u a fully functioning try before u buy period to see if it does what u desire. Really easy to use also.
