When I DeInterlace a video, does that make it a Non-Interlace (Progressive) video? It's just hard to understand DeInterlace against Non-Interlace video. Quite confusing, because they 'kinda' mean the same thing.
Like, if I DeInterlace an AVI with the filter (Even-Odd Field) and convert that to MPEG-2. Then for some reason, if I wanted to re-encode that same MPEG-2 file again, would I set the Video Type to Non-Interlace, or Interlaced still?

De - interlace Video, doesn't make it progressive...
You have to say to the encoder (tmpeg), what you want to be your output mpeg file...
