LITE-ON DVDRW LDW-811S

Hi

I am using a LITE-ON DVDRW LDW-811S to copy my dvds to be played on a pioneer dv-525. Does anyone else have a similiar system and can recommend media? I have used Discrite dvd-r media and had bad results I have been using packard bell dvd+rw recently and have had ok results but still get some jumps everynow and then. I think I will start to use dvd+r media is there any particular one that any1 can recommend?

Hi Chris

yes there are a few i have used in the liteon 811s, they are : Verbatim, Tdk and Imation. All are +r 4x and have burnt at 8x successfully, hope this helps..

cheers for that mate - what programs do you use to burn - I has having a few problems with recording but now I use decrypter to back-up to hard drive - shrink if they need shrinking to fit and then nero 6 to burn to the dvd. This seems to be working ok doing a few more test runs now to find out for sure. It would be interesting to hear what system you use.
