I'm using 0.0.9a, and I'm having quite a bit of deinterlace artifacts on sharp diagonal lines, they all appear as a series of dashes rather then one solid line. I'm encoding directly from VOB to Xvid, with the following options:
High Quality, use B-frames, 4 motion vectors, 2 pass, Trellis quantization, bilinear scaling, and SSE.
Is this an inherent limitation of the deinterlace filter? Any suggestions on how to improve it?
Thanks,
