  1. Greetings, can someone point me to a guide as to how I can transfer my vhs home movies to DVD.

I have a DVD-RW, WinDVD Recorder and GForce 2 MX 400 video card, will this do the trick or will I have to upgrade my video card.

If this has been asked before, my apologies and could you send me to the original post.

    Many thanks

  2. There is no short answer. Look through the "guides" section about capturing video. Once you got that down, look into converting your captured video format into a DVD compliant format. Then, look into authoring your DVD. You can usually get a feel for what methods are easier by looking at the guides and articles.

Your computer should be fine. Start saving your money for software.

  3. I think the sw is ok but don't think your card is capable of capturing ( ie Hauppauge WinTV is 1 of the myriad of capture cards which will plug directly to a VHS deck) , also have you checked your DVD writer is compatible with WinDVD Recorder.

    Good luck, hope this helps.
