I've bought a Panasonic DMR - E50 DVD writer. It's only suitable for region Europe. Can anyone help me with deblocking this. are there any tricks to get this done?[/b]

Quite simply you should of spent a bit more time looking at DMRE50 ads, you can easily buy Region free versions.
Plus Daamons link is irelevant, it deals with DVD Roms, not DVD recorders ! -

I checked various links (of course...) but wasn't successfulluntill now. Since I've already purchased, I need some secret combination of pressing buttons to make the recorder regionfree.
