  2. There are DVD disks and there are CD disks, there are no such thing as "DVD CD disks".

I do not see how it is possible that you did not find not just one, but MULTIPLE tutorials and guides for what you want to do. If this is indicative of the level of effort you are willing to put forth, stop right now and return your burner in exchange for a DVD recorder.

Let me amplify on that. How the hell did you possibly miss the brightly colored "how to" sections on this site? I am truly curious.

  4. Any answer that I could have given you has been done much better, with color screen shots, multiple examples, etc., etc., in the guides section. That's why they are there. These guides have been continually revised and improved, some of them over several years. They also explain in detail and by example several concepts that you need to learn.

If you think suggesting that you actually read some and experiment for yourself, trying multiple different methods to see which one suits you best, is too difficult, then just continue to wait and whine and someone will eventually spoon feed you a method that will work, which you might find is all you need but the odds are that over time you will discover that better results are obtainable, which you will ONLY learn how to do after following my original suggestion. You can begin this process in less than 5 seconds.

  6. OK, see you're on a site with A LOT of wonderful information. The reason you could not post for the first few days after registering is that the people that run the site want you to look around and read posts, guides, and other stuff here so that when you do start posting questions, they are not totally of the "newbie" type.

Like I've said before in other threads, people on this forum are happy to help, but you must show you've "done the work" and read some of the information on the site.

I lurked on this forum for SIX months before starting to post anything. Watch and learn!

    I agree with ckdexterhn1
I am a newbie here also, but respect for the people that are tryin to help you should be foremost! I played around for a few days reading and experimenting on this whole dvd experience. I learned what I could by reading, reading, and doin that all over again. Then if I needed help, I came to this forum. If an experianced person here tells me to get a clue....I WILL DO THAT. Its their help that makes things happen for me and I wouldnt sacrifice that for anything. Follow their example to the 'T' and your whole video experiance will be much easier! Thank you to all that have helped me here. ~THIS SITE RULES~
