Help with my new sony ns330 dvd player

I just bought the above stated dvd player. Before that i had an apex 1100W dvd player. To be able to play self created dvd's , i was advised to create the video_ts folder and then burn it to disc adding this folder as a data file rather than a dvd video file (using Nero). and it worked perfectly with that player. but since i bought the sony none of the dvd's i created like that works. it says "cannot play this disc"

is there anything i can do. any codes i can enter to make the dvd player recognise dvd data dvd's and play them?

any help will be much appriciated

Return it get a new one there some thing wrong with it I bet.
