  1. I am in Australia. I have my Foxtel cable box connected to my Winfast 2000XP Expert card and it works fine and I pay for the cable rights.

But as it only comes through one channel in the card I have to manually change the station on my box to record on different channels.

How do I have the cable channels come through multiple channels on the computer? Is it possible?

    Thank you - Och

    Hi John,

I have the same TV Tuner, but no Foxtel. So, technically speaking, I can't help u out with ur problem.

Anyway, I want u to give DScaler a go. It's much better'n the Winfast PVR application. Although u cannot use it for recording, its gr8 for viewing TV on ur PC. It actually does full screen deint in real time. Unlike Winfast PVR which, I guess, simply skips one field.

By the way, I found a channel list for DScaler (program.txt) on their website. It has frequency settings for all Foxtel and terrestrial channels.

    Regards,
    Keith

If your cable is the same as our cable, only the premium content scrambled, connect to the card before the box and try. You hould get the basic channels with the tuner.

All cable boxes change the frequency of all channels to either channel 3 or 4.

To watch/record premium, you have to reconnect the box, select channel with cable box.

    Cheers,

    George
