Hi,
I copied to Video_TS folder from my DVD-R to my Hard drive.
What program do I need to edit out commercials and other content from these .VOB files?
I do not want to do any converting of the original video format. I want to edit out clips from the .VOB file and save them as clips for burning onto a new dvd-r.
what is an easy and excellent program for doing this?
does it matter how I name the files that I cut out of the original?
thanks,
Kat

tmpgenc dvd author, select open dvd and choose the video_ts folder and then you can use the built in editing tool and remove the commercials and reauthor to a new dvd.
You can also use dvd shrink.
