  1. okay... i know there's a bunch of posts about this, but I still can't figure some things out. First, I tried changing the DivX to MPEG and then burning - i got video, but no audio. Then I downloaded something to decompress the audio and burnt again - still no sound. then i tried using vitrualdub to take out a wav file and then use tmpg to put the avi and the wav into a new mpeg - still, no sound. why am I not getting sound? maybe it's because I'm using adaptec? But i don't know, because when I used one program called "avi2vcd" i had no problem.... except that this goes extremely slow. I'm not a patient guy, so I'd much rather use the TMPG and figure out why that doesn't work... or whatever it is. Next step is to try Nero, and if this doesn't work I guess I'll just have to use avi2vcd for conversions - but i'd rather not!!! thanx for any help.
