  1. I've tried to burn the movie Chicago about 6 or 7 times and it plays ok on pc and dvd player but the only problem is I can't get the video to flow. Its jerky and choppy. I'm using easy vcd 1.15. I have no other problems in the past with other dvds. I've tried everything that I know but still no go. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you match the framerate of the source to your output?

If it gets jerky, just pick up ur player and jerk it in the opposite direction whenever it happens
Actually I found that the source is usually the culprit 9 outta 10 times.
yes thats right, 9 outta 10 dentists recommend a newer source.
You didnt say if it jerks on both pc and standalone. Also, is this the only one that does it? have you encoded another dvd the same exact way and does it have the same problem?

Check of the DVD is 23 or 29.97 frames a sec
Adjust output setting to match input frame rate

If there's keyframeing going on, match that rate also

Otherwise, result is a cyclical peterbation in all motion

  6. Make sure you fields are set correctly....Does field A or B come first?

Search the forums for more info....

Also, only use TMPGenc..It is the king of VCD.
