  1. Hi,

    I have create 20 chapters from home dvd movie in DVD WS.
    Is that true i should always create 1 single MPEG 2 file into DVD WS if i want to contiune play to the end when i click any one of those chapter.
    Because now i have cut & trimmed into many title and it will only play to chapter end then return to menu. If that's the case. I have to use other tools like Videostudio for editing and then output as Single MEPG file to DVD WS for chapters.

    Thanks.

  2. I would recommend that you use a single MPEG file and then set chapters within that single file.

    If you chop up your project into separate MPEGs, and you make each MPEG file a separate chapter, then you'll only have the option of doing two things:

    1. You can specify that when each chapter MPEG finishes, the viewer will be returned to the MENU;

    2. As an alternative, you can specify that when each chapter MPEG finishes, the viewer will see a slight *pause* at the end of the chapter and then the next chapter will start to play (I don't care for this option.)

    Hope this helps,

  3. It would be great if i can do the 2nd option. Specify each chapter and pause for a second then will automatically start play next chapter. Since i have already chop up my project into many MPEGS . But can you tell me how do to do that in DVD WS?

    Just wondering if there is any program i can combine multiple VOBs file into Single MPEG file ?

  4. Ulead MediaStudio Pro is a professional-level editor that will allow you to combine multiple VOBs to become a single MPEG file.

    Ulead VideoStudio is a consumer-level editor that will also allow you to combine multiple VOBs to become a single MPEG file.

    MediaStudio Pro has the advantage of supporting AC-3 audio, however.

    In DVD Workshop, you can right click on each separate MPEG in your project and a pop-up menu will appear.

    When the pop-up menu appears, click AFTER PLAY.

    Then you'll see two options:

    1. LAST MENU;

    2. NEXT TITLE.

    If you select NEXT TITLE, then your MPEG chapter will play and then *pause* when it concludes - and then the next MPEG chapter will play.

    Just to be clear, what JJones wrote about right-clicking is how you do it in Workshop.

  6. Yes, thanks for the clarification.

    I was writing about DVD Workshop when I wrote the info about the right-click menu options.
