I have two avi files that are about 700MB each I want to join them and convert them to DVD they are high quality. So how do I do this without losing quality and it being able to be put on one dvd. Thanks

You "Convert" them to DVD compliant mpeg, then you "Author" and burn to disk. Look in the "Guides" section for detailed Avi to DVD conversion.
All of the above topics are in the green section in the left hand side of this page.
BTW, you don't have to join them before converting. Just convert to mpeg and author them together."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
