E L I M I N A T I N G - - - VOICE-OVERS!!????

Well..

I have a movie in avi format with "polish" narration overtop of the existing audio. I would somehow like to get rid of this voice-over.. and work with the origional file. Does anyone know of any programs or methods of doing this? Is it even possible?

I'm stumped.

Any help is greatly appreciated..

If there is only one audio track with the voiceover, no. If it's one channel of stereo, maybe, depending on how it's mixed. You may be able to do some advanced filtering and filter out the voice frequencies, but you will probably remove most of the regular sound also.
